The West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village
Today there are 6 experimentally reconstructed buildings and some other structures on the site where it was excavated.
These reconstructions represent a group of houses and a Hall. There would have been at least two such groups on the hill at any one time in the early Anglo-Saxon period.
The Oldest building, built in 1973 by the West Stow Environmental Archaeology Group, was finally dismantled in 2024, having stood up for over 50 years.
