The Friends support a unique and long running early Anglo-Saxon experimental archaeology project.
For anyone who grew up with and love our Anglo Saxon village, this is the group to join!
You can get involved with experimental archaeology activities in the village or work on the farm project and grow heritage crops on site, become a costumed villager with the friends living history group called Stowacynn or help out with special events.
